Challenge: In speaking with the client about his career so far and intended next steps, it was apparent that we needed to overhaul the format and content to emphasize key aspects of his background: a strong business development foundation, financial proficiency and really distinctive marketing knowledge.

Process: Among a range of other strategic changes, we added a Core Competency section to show the depth and breadth of his skills and proficiencies; additionally, we added contextual information for the more recent positions before highlighting his key accomplishments and measureables to show how truly effective he has been, regardless of the role.

Outcome: The result? A far more dynamic résumé speaking to an interesting and strong career with too many accomplishments to even list! Of course, this is strategic in and of itself: the reader see the achievements and it pushes him/her to bring the candidate in for an interview!
